Experienced SA Team Ready to Tackle MTB World Champs
Get ready for 2024 UCI MTB World Championships.
The UCI MTB World Championships take place from 26 August to 1 September in Pal Arinsal, Andorra. South Africa has a total of 16 South Africans competing across the MTB disciplines including Cross-Country Olympic (XCO), Short-Track (XCC), and Downhill (DHI). Following Team SA recent achievements at the UCI World Series in Les Gets—where Greg Minnaar earned a bronze, Candice Lill captured silver, and Alan Hatherly won an impressive double gold in both Short-Track and XCO, as well as winning bronze at the Olympics—the South African team is set to deliver strong performances at the upcoming World Championships
